This is a short Spanish III project made in 2007 at Park City High School. A project by J.L. Topkis, Dylan Ragland, Dane Bradford, Kasey Coyle, and Matt Brown.

Here is the translated screenplay:

INT. GODFATHER'S MANSIONNIGHT

The camera moves toward a dark figure at a desk. The GODFATHER turns on a light and spins in the chair.

GODFATHER
Hola. Yo no le vi cuando ud. entr. Me llamo Don Corleone. Gracias para venir a visitarme en este dia, el dia de la boda de mi hija. Qu quiere?
(Hello. I didn't see you come in. My name is Don Corleone. Thank you for coming to visit me on this day, the day of my daughter's wedding. What do you want?)

A man approaches the desk.

MAN
Padrino, Yo quiero su permiso para matar Sana Torre.
(Godfather, I want your permission to kill Sana Torre.)

GODFATHER
Si, en este dia, el dia de la boda de mi hija,le dar tu permiso. Pero primero, yo necesito ensearle de seguridad de un fusil. Perd a mi hijo, Sonny, a muchos fusiles. No quiero eso de ocurrirle a Ud. Primero, es seguro poner la seguridad.
(Yes, on this day, the day of my daughter's wedding, I will give you permission. But first I need to teach you of gun safety. I lost my son, Sonny, to a lot of guns. I don't want that to happen to you. First, makes sure to put the safety on.)

Show someone turning on the safety of a gun.

GODFATHER
(V.O.)
Escndalo lejos de nios pequeos.
(keep it away from small children.)

Show a small child playing with a gun and somebody comes and takes it away. The kid starts crying.

GODFATHER
Pero, ms importante, es no se ceplle los dientes con un fusil.
(but most importantly, do not brush your teeth with a gun.)

A woman is sitting in an interview room.

WOMAN
Mi hermano y yo estabamos en un hotel.
(My brother and I were in a hotel.)
WOMAN
(V.O.)
l se olvid el cepillo de dientes y el decidi usar su fusil para cepillarse los dientes.
(He forgot his toothbrush and decided to use his gun to brush his teeth.)

A man starts brushing his teeth with a gun. We hear a loud *BANG!* and it goes to black.

The woman starts weeping.

WOMAN
Yo le estraa muchisimo.
(I miss him very much.)

GODFATHER
(V.O.)
usted no debe utilizar su fusil para apagar la television.
(you shouldn't use a gun to turn off the television)

MAN 2
Donde esta el remoto, mujer?
(Where is the remote, woman?)

WOMAN
No s!
(I don't know!)

MAN reaches over to the table. The fun is sitting next to the remote. He picks up the gun, holding it backwards, and shoots.
GODFATHER
Y finalmente, no utilice su fusil como un abrelatas.
(and finally, do not use your gun as a can opener.)

A man is holding a can, looking for a can opener.

MAN 3
dnde est el abrelatas?
(Where is the can opener?)

He see's the gun, shrugs, and shoots the can. The contents blow up in his face.

INT. GODFATHER'S MANSIONNIGHT

The GODFATHER is shaking his gun at the man as he speaks.

GODFATHER
Gracias por escuchar, y tenga cuidado con ese fusil. No quiero ver que nadie obtenga la herida en este dia, el dia de la boda de mi hija.
(Thank you for listening and be careful with that gun. I don't want to see anyone get hurt on this day, the day of my daughter's wedding.)

He scratches his ear with his gun. The man stares at him in disbelief. They both start laughing like it's some kind of joke. GODFATHER then cracks a nut with it and accidentally shoots the camera.
